Clean Up the World

Picture
Clean Up the World is a worldwide campaign based around the principles of volunteerism in promoting the communal benefits of having a clean environment.  Groups form around the world and register under the Clean Up the World website and promise to promote and actively participate in cleaning up their area.

The WCSES has established the first group to participate in New Jersey!  Staff from the WCSES will be actively in the community and cleaning up the areas around our home base Swedesboro, NJ.
But why stop there!  We will also be attending five area schools in the surrounding Swedesboro area of our headquarters to teach the students the importance of keeping a clean environment.  As our staff instructs the students on the principles that the WCSES follows in regards to volunteerism, we will promote our Clean Up the World campaign in asking for these students to volunteer alongside us.  The student that clocks the most                             volunteer hours that can be verified by a school administrator will win a free 5-7 day cruise on one of our society's lines!

Adopt-A-Beach

In the cruise line industry, we understand that the beautiful beaches are a large reason for our patrons to continue traveling with us.  That is why the WCSES has begun participation in the Adopt-A-Beach program which allows us to sponsor different trash receptacles along the Los Angeles County and Orange County shoreline.  In our sponsorship, we cover the cost of trash receptacles which provides beach visitors more locations to dispose of trash properly.  These are some of the most frequently visited beaches in the United States gathering hundreds of millions of visitors every year.  So go visit!  You will see our trash receptacles, just check for the WCSES logo!
